SENIOR TEAM.

Reece Donnelly

FOUNDER AND PRINCIPAL

Reece Donnelly, has been in the industry since the age of 6 securing a TV role with CBBC, it has been a constant journey since then working professionally on projects like:

Carrie & Davids Popshop(CBBC), Waterloo Road (BBC), Citizens Theatre, Pavilion Theatre, Happy Days UK Tour (Scottish Leg), T-Mobile (Commercial) – Reece also has a background as a voice over artist for clients such as NHS & Nickelodeon.

In addition, Reece’s work as an actor has seen him do various community drama projects with the organisations such as Barlinne Prison in partnership with The Citizens Theatre and Kibble Secure Centre in partnership with West College Scotland.

Reece obtained a BA(Hons) in Drama from the University of Sunderland – he was awarded the James McAvoy scholarship at The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in 2014 . However, the passion for Reece was in teaching, directing and growing new talent in Scotland.

His commitment to training and teaching performing skills to kids is outstanding.
The balance between professional training and having fun is something which is mastered completely at Theatre School of Scotland.

Furthermore, Reece is also a successful director and senior talent agent of sister company KR Management. In recent years Reece has taken students and clients from acting beginners to landing lead roles on BBC, CBBC and Netflix and many more.

Charlotte Forbes

Head of Singing & SQA Coordinator

Charlotte has been a professional performer and educator for over 10 years. She holds a BA (hons) Degree in Theatre from Guildford School of Acting, a Post Graduate Diploma in Musical Theatre from the Royal Academy of Music and is also a Licentiate of the Royal Academy of Music specialising in teaching musical theatre voice.

Charlotte’s performance credits include multiple contracts nationally and internationally,
including London’s West End. Alongside her performing career, Charlotte has always had a passion for teaching. Between touring and performing she has often taken on teaching within stage schools, one-to-one private tuition, and guest lecturing for performing arts colleges. Additionally, she is experienced
in choreographing, and directing full scale concerts and musicals.

Charlotte has travelled and taught all over the world including Dubai where she lived for two years and launched the first BTEC in Performing Arts in the region.

Jasmin Riggins

SENIOR ACTING COACH / OUTREACH

Jasmin Riggins is an actor and drama coach based in Glasgow. She has worked across various roles within the TV, Film, Theatre and Commercial sector. Her credits include, The Angels Share,BBC River City, BBC Two Doors Down, Empty and completed a sold out run at The Edinburgh Fringe with Commonwealth Theatre co. Jasmin is an asset to the Theatre School Of Scotland team.

Jasmin is extremely passionate about teaching kids new skills, life lessons and the growing acting their ability. Jasmin and our principal teacher have been a duo in the acting industry since 2013 working alongside each other across various Theatre, Pantomime and community outreach jobs and they have continued this relationship to grow and develop Scotland’s next generation of talent. Jasmin is an asset to the team and her coaching and director skills are second to none.

Sean Connor

Acting Coach (Glasgow)

Sean started his acting career at a young age, appearing in numerous commercials and stage performances.

At the age of 17, he joined New College Lanarkshire where he obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in acting.

Since then he has went on to appear in numerous film and television productions such as Schemers, Still Game, One of Us, Anna and the Apocalypse and River City.

Chiara Sparkes

Acting Coach (Glasgow)

Chiara is a Scottish actor, from Glasgow. She trained at The Dance School of Scotland, and graduated from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland with a BA in Musical Theatre. She was a part of the Dundee Rep graduate scheme in 2018 and was the winner of the Young Scottish Musical Theatre Performer of the Year 2017.

Theatre credits include: MAMMA MIA! (Uk and International tour), Glasgow Girls 2019 & 2017 (Uk and Ireland Tours), The Yellow on the Broom, The Snow Queen, Rep Stripped Festival (Dundee Rep), Eddie and the Slumber Sisters (Catherine Wheels/NTS)

Karena Quaile

Senior Coach Edinburgh

Karena studied Musical Theatre at Itali Conti in London and continued her studies at Glasgow
Academy of Musical Theatre. Upon graduating Karena launched a successful career as a
professional performer with credits including BBC Waterloo Road, Evita and Into The Woods.
Karena is highly skilled in all aspects of Musical Theatre having studied all genres of dance from an
early age at the Dance School of Scotland as well as mastering skills in acting and singing in her
further education.

Karena has a true passion for the performing arts, which is evident in her energetic and nurturing
teaching style and is dedicated to inspiring the future generation of performing artists.

Fergie Fraser

Acting Coach Glasgow

Fergie Fraser is an acting and LAMDA teacher at the Theatre School of Scotland, Glasgow. Since graduating from ArtsEd London in 2020, Fergie has performed in “A Second Chance” (A New Musical Development)2021, “Restless Natives” (A New Musical Development)2021 and 2023, “Big Band Does…Broadway” Edinburgh Fringe 2022, “Cinderella” The Salisbury Playhouse2022, “Crime ITV-X”(out September 2023), ADR on “The Witcher” Netflix, ADR on “David Bowie” Documentary, Platinum Jubilee Pageant. Fergie is excited to be joining the TSOS team and meeting all the students.

Adam Robertson

Acting Coach

Adam trained at the Drama Centre London and has enjoyed a successful career as an actor, producer, director and teacher.

TV work includes Outlander (Sony Pictures), Series Regular Dr Dan Hunter in BBC Scotland’s River City, Taggart The Movie (STV), Urban Gothic (Channel 4), Wire In The Blood (ITV), Casualty (BBC).

Film work includes Co-lead alongside Benedict Cumberbatch in Third Star, Dir Hattie Dalton. American Assassin (US) Dir Michael Cuesta. Perdition County, Dir Raphael Combez.

Ross Baxter

Musical Theatre Coach

Ross is a Scottish actor originally from Lanarkshire and has been part of the teaching faculty at TSOS since the beginning of 2023. He graduated from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Musical Theatre.

Immediately after drama school, he joined the Dundee Rep Theatre ensemble as part of the graduate scheme performing in Gagarin Way, The Yellow On The Broom and The Snow Queen. He has also performed in productions such as Still Game Live: The Final Farewell at the OVO Hydro and has also been seen in work associated with RSNO, Arts Theatre West End, Macrobert Arts Centre, Perth Theatre, Traverse Theatre, Ayr Gaiety and A Play, A Pie & A Pint. 

In 2022, Ross was featured in the John Patrick Byrne exhibition at Kelvingrove Art Gallery as a voice over artist. He voiced the role of ‘Benoit’ in the audio play adaption of Donald & Benoit, produced by Pitlochry Festival Theatre

Suzie O’Donoghue

Principal of Songbird Studios

Suzie is the owner and principal of Songbird studios based in Greenock. Suzie has enjoyed a successful career as a vocalist and is an estill trained vocal coach. With a BA (Hons) in popular music, Suzie is a highly skilled singing and vocal coach who hopes to inspire children of all ages to find and use their voice.

Zoe McCrae

Acting & Singing Coach

Zoe McRae is an Edinburgh based freelance Drama and Singing Teacher, Performer and Musical Theatre Graduate from Aberdeen Academy of Performing Arts

Zoe also has her Trinity College of London LTCL in Musical Theatre Teaching as well as being trained in Estill Voice technique and specialised in Stanislavski Technique under the tuition of Luis Allan 

Zoe is passionate about teaching children singing and acting through fun and creative techniques as well as making sure every student can achieve their best in TSOS’s safe and supportive environment. Zoe takes pride in her achievements and what she can bring to the students and their learning. 

Darren Webster

Vocal Coach

Darren is a Glasgow based Musical Director, Arranger and Typesetter. Darren graduated from the
University of the West of Scotland with a BA in Musical Theatre. As a specialist vocal coach Darren
has an in depth understanding of the vocal instrument having studied Estill level 1 and 2. Darren is
also a qualified Vocal Health First Aider.

As well as his formal qualifications, Darren has a wealth of experience working in the musical theatre
industry as a Teacher, Musical Director and arranger. Darren has worked on a broad range of shows
including professional productions, college productions and amateur theatre.

Riona Bhreathnach

SINGING COACH (EDINBURGH)

Originally from Ireland, Ríona trained at the MGA Academy in Edinburgh, graduating with BA Hons in Musical Theatre.  

During her time in college she performed in a number of shows including the titular role in Carrie the Musical.

Prior to drama school, Ríona trained at the Conservatoire Ouest Vaudois in Switzerland, where she was in Operas such as Manru, Bastien und Bastienne, and Marco Polo Et La Princesse de Chine 

Ríona is hugely passionate about teaching, and training the next generation of performers

DANCE FACULTY.

Stephanie Taylor

HEAD OF DANCE

Stephanie started her training in Glasgow at Robert Hamilton’s Dancepoint before moving to London to further her training at The Urdang Academy after being awarded the Leonie Urdang Scholarship.

Since graduating Stephanie has performed on tv productions, events & shows in the UK, Europe, Asia & most recently the Middle East with Dance It Out Dubai. Stephanie has travelled the world extensively as a dancer & aerialist with Celebrity Cruises on several long term contracts. 

Her credits include BBC Children in Need, Barnardos, JCB World Trade Show, Celebrity Cruises, Fiba 3×3.

As well as performing, Stephanie has a passion for teaching, with 10 years experience, she was principal of her own studio London Base for 7 years.

Stephanie is currently enjoying being back in Glasgow teaching Musical Theatre students around Glasgow where she can pass own her knowledge & experience to the pupils.

MANAGEMENT TEAM.

Hannah Crawford

Sales and Marketing Assistant

Hannah graduated from City of Glasgow College with an HND in Media and Communications.
Hannah is passionate about working within the media industry and has excelled in the field from a
young age. At the age of 17, Hannah was one of the winners of the 2021 BBC Young Reporter Awards in the category of Coronavirus Stories. Within her submission for the awards, she chronicled her experience working as a key worker in a care home during the pandemic.

Hannah has now turned her media skills to content creation, video production, promotion and marketing.
Hannah plays an integral role at the Theatre School of Scotland managing our social media output communicating with parents and promoting the Theatre School.

Katie Rutherford

TALENT AGENT

Katie is the company manager of KR Management, a sister company to Theatre School of Scotland. Reece and herself work constantly together to ensure kids are being represented fairly and being seen by casting directors throughout the UK and internationally.

Katie has trained in both Drama and Dance from a young age, as a teenager she trained at some of Scotland’s top institutions including RCS and then went onto achieve her BA Hons Drama and Dance from the University of Cumbria. Katie has experience throughout the industry as a young performer and has just recently finished her first Professional Musical Theatre Tour with a Scottish Production company as a 2017 Graduate.

Katie is extremely passionate about Scottish Children being opened to bigger opportunities in the industry, she is thrilled that KR Management and Theatre School of Scotland have joined to create a strong platform for the children we represent and coach.
