A GLASGOW based theatre school is teaming up with some of the biggest names in Scottish showbiz.

Still Game's Jane McCarry(Isa) and River City's Gary Lamont (Robbie Fraser) are just a few of the actors doing takeover weeks at The Theatre School Of Scotland.

Why are performing arts important?

The performing arts are great for helping children to develop their creative skills. There are no wrong answers, and everyone is actively encouraged to express new and alternative opinions. In fact, the performing arts can improve and develop many different skills, all of which will play a big role in adult life.
